All about the trip

During the Slovenian springtime, as the alpine snow begins to melt, the Soča river’s water-level rapidly rises creating perfect whitewater rafting conditions.

Huge waves, winding rapids and gorgeous turquoise water makes the Soča easily one of the best locations in Europe for whitewater rafting. Winding through the luscious Slovenian countryside, the Soča is often referred to as ‘The Emerald Beauty’ due to its striking colour and beautiful location.

Choosing early springtime guarantees the gnarliest rafting conditions, however, later into the summer months the water is much calmer making it more suitable for families wanting to enjoy the river.

In addition to 1.5 hours of high-octane whitewater rafting, your experienced instructor will also be taking numerous photographs of you and your fellow rafters. These will be available for sale after your trip.

All rafting participants must be able to swim, be physically healthy and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Maximum weight per person is 125kg.
Participants under 18 years of age must provide parental or a legal guardian’s consent.

Instructions

We will meet 15-minutes before departure in the Rafting Base of HungaroRaft.

What to take with you?

Each participant should bring their own swimwear, a towel, extra socks, small day bag, drinking water, and some extra cash.

Itinerary

	After administration you will meet your rafting guide for the day.
	There will be a brief intro and the collection of your rafting equipment.
	We will then drive 10-minutes to the Soča river.
	We change into our rafting equipment accompanied by a comprehensive safety talk.
	There will be approximately 1.5 hours of whitewater rafting.
	A 20-minute drive back to the Bovec Adventure Center.
	Finally, there will be an opportunity to look at all the day’s rafting photos.

If you'll find the supermarket "MERKATOR" on the main street of Bovec, just about 250m from the center, turn down, there are parking lots left and right, you gos traight down to the very end of the street, than turn right, go 250m. You will see beachflags on the fence at your right hand side. Park somewhere here and walk 20m to our base.

Cancellation more than 4 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 48 to 96 hours prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
