All about the trip

The Soča and its stream, the Koritnica, are the most popular places in Europe for whitewater enthusiasts. They provide 50 kilometres of diverse conditions suitable for everyone from beginners to the most experienced.

During the spring, ample rain coupled with alpine snow melt guarantees high water levels on Soča with strong currents and big waves which make canoeing at this time very exciting. In summer the water level decreases, resulting in a slower, calmer course ideal for families and the less adventurous.

We offer minirafts or canoes suitable for two to three people for this adventurous trip. We recommend mini rafts for experienced paddlers. Our guides will accompany you in a kayak or canoe to show you the line and insure your safety.

All rafting participants must be able to swim, be physically healthy and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Maximum weight per person is 125kg.
Participants under 18 years of age must provide parental or a legal guardian’s consent.

Instructions

We will meet 15-minutes before departure in the Bovec Adventure Center.

What to take with you?

Please bring swimsuit, towel, small day bag, drinking water, extra socks and funds for photos or souvenirs.

Itinerary

	After administration you will meet your rafting guide for the day.
	There will be a brief intro and the collection of your rafting equipment.
	We will then drive 10-minutes to the Soča river.
	We change into our rafting equipment accompanied by a comprehensive safety talk.
	There will be approximately 1.5 hours of whitewater rafting.
	A 20-minute drive back to the Bovec Adventure Center.
	Finally, there will be an opportunity to look at all the day’s rafting photos.

Cancellation more than 4 days prior to the starting date. Clients are automatically refunded the full booking price.
Cancellation within 48 to 96 hours prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
