All about the trip

On our whale watching tours, you will have a very good chance to see some of the magnificent giants of the sea. The most common whale sightings in Faxaflói bay are minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. Our expert guides will tell you all about the facts and biology of the whales, as well as adding in some fun stories. You can enjoy the beautiful views around Reykjavik and the surrounding areas on the way.

The adorable puffins live only a short boat ride away from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík. We will sail with our small boat named Skúlaskeið that is perfect for puffin watching since it has a shallow draught and therefore can get close to the small islands where the puffins live. Our guides are very knowledgeable about the thriving birdlife in the Reykjavík area.
