All about the trip

You will start your day by joining our morning whale watching tour, sailing out and viewing the beautiful skyline of Reykjavik city as well as the magnificent nature that surrounds it which is perfect for photography. The tour will take about 3 hours and together we will try to spot the many whales and seabirds that live on Faxaflói Bay. You will be back at the harbor around 12:15. If you haven’t had a taste of the sandwiches on board and you have some time, the Old Harbour is perfect for a quick lunch, such as grabbing a burger or a sandwich.

At 12:30 you will be picked up from the Old Harbour for the Grand excursion of Reykjavik. This guided tour of Reykjavík takes you to some of the most popular landmarks of the city such as Hallgrímskirkja church, the Pearl, and the famous 101 Reykjavík neighborhood. Other highlights will be the green valleys, outdoor swimming pools and the salmon river Elliðaá that runs through the city. The guide will share with you facts and stories about the rich culture of Reykjavik, its history and natural environment.
