All about the trip

An unforgettable day trip along the scented tracks of the Damascus rose. First, we visit the Thracian tomb in the city of Kazanlak, which dates back to the 4th century BC and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then we visit the very heart of the Valley of the Roses and you will see the process of traditional rose oil production. Please note that the Damascus rose blooms for only 22-25 days, from the second half of May to mid-June. The next stop is the architectural jewel, the Church of the Birth of Christ. On the way back to Sofia, we will stop in the historic city of Koprivshtitsa, which you can see for yourself.
