All about the trip

Experience an active day outdoors while exploring the fascinating nature and landscape of Bali. Set off on a scenic bike ride with amazing views of the active volcano of Mount Batur in the distance. Switch to a boat in the afternoon and enjoy the adventure of white water rafting on the Ayung river.

Our tour begins with a visit to a coffee plantation where you can taste exquisite samples of the local production and see the traditional Balinese way of processing coffee. Hungry for new experiences we get on our bikes and set off on a trip through lush valleys, small villages, and green rice fields. The easy 26-km bike trip will take us around 2.5 hours. Starting from the village of Kintamani we will be passing ancient temples on the way and our guide will recount the history of the area and explain local culture.

We will see Mount Batur in the distance. The sacred Hindu mountain is an active volcano. With its altitude of 1717 m, it dominates the landscape and we enjoy the view of its impressive silhouette.

We continue our adventure on rafts and explore the beautiful Ayung river. There is all the necessary safety equipment available including life vests and helmets so we can enjoy the exhilarating ride and have fun. The journey of 16 km will take again 2.5 hours and offers plenty of panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and rice fields.

What to take with you?

Please wear light comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor activities and comfortable shoes suitable for biking. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, shorts or a swimsuit, shoes suitable for rafting and a set of clothes you can change into after rafting.
