All about the trip

Getaway from the fast-paced lifestyle of Korea's busy cities and take a tour through Udo and Jeju Island. Take a trip to the island that has been deemed "South Korea's Hawaii!" During this tour, you will have a private vehicle, along with a licensed, professional English-speaking tour guide. Throughout the day, your guide will offer tips, provide information and handle any language barriers that may occur during the tour. Jeju island is a volcanic island consisting chiefly of basalt and lava off the coast of Korea. The entire island has been deemed a natural world heritage site, leaving it mostly untouched by modern life. Udo Island is a lava plateau and a fertile flatland about 3.5 kilometers off the coast of Jeju. The island's name translates to meaning "Cow Island" because the formation looks like a cow laying down. The island has unique and lush vegetation, distinguishing it from other places in Korea.

To start, you will begin the tour with a 15-minute ferry ride to Udo Island. The first visit whilst on the island will be Geommeole Beach, a black sand beach with surrounding dead corals. From there we will journey to the Udo Lighthouse park for nice views and a delicious lunch. Heads up, there is a short steep incline to reach the top but the climb is worth it! Once at the top, a "must-try" is the yummy Udo peanut ice-cream or the refreshing Hanlabong citrusy flavored icecream. After a lovely time at Udo, we will hop back on the ferry for our adventure in Jeju. We will end at the UNESCO Natural Heritage site Songsan Sunrise Peak. This is a popular volcanic edifice with lush green scenery and breathtaking views. Rest assured this tour of Udo and Jeju Island is as adventurous as it is charming.
