All about the trip

In the morning, our representative will pick you up from your Hotel in Cairo or Giza and take you to Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival to Aswan airport, your tour guide will be waiting for you (holding a sign with your name) and then you can start your amazing day. First stop, Philae Temple. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the temple is now situated on the small island of Agilika. It occupies about a quarter of the island. The temple is huge and you can admire its pylons and beautiful architecture.

We will then continue our trip to visit the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual Nile floods.

The next stop will be Unfinished Obelisk. It is the largest known ancient obelisk and is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. These stone quarries are a reminder of the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. You will then have a break to enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. We will then board a felucca and sail on the River Nile around Aghakhan and Elephantine Islands.

After this amazing day, we will take you back to Aswan Airport where you will take your domestic flight back to Cairo. Our agent will once again await you at the airport to transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
