All about the trip

Join us for a trekking adventure in Dalat to the 'Heaven Gate' which is a famous viewing platform high-up in the jungle.

This route has been designed so that you can push your limits but still enjoy all the beautiful surroundings of the Vietnamese countryside.

Our day of adventure begins at around 8:30 in the morning with collection from your hotel in Dalat. Once we reach the starting point you will then enjoy 18 km of hiking through the tropical jungle and all kinds of awesome terrain. Together with your guide, you will hike through several villages, past beautiful waterfalls, through evergreen pine forests, in thick jungle, across suspension bridges over the Lang Bian river...and then eventually to the summit of 'Heaven Gate'. Trust us, you will feel like Indiana Jones by the time you get here! This area is certainly one of the most beautiful spots for photos in Dalat, you can see fantastic views far and wide across the landscape here. So, cameras at the ready!

Along with visiting the Heaven Gate, we will also visit the legendary 'Tiger Den Waterfall' where you can swim if you'd like (never a bad way to wash off the sweat!) but that's your choice entirely. We'd say you should definitely do it.

In advance of the day, you should prepare for 6 hours of moderate-paced hiking. It's a good idea to have a big breakfast, check your footwear and charge your camera batteries before you leave. Transportation to and from your hotel to the start of the trail is included.
