All about the trip

If you are planning a visit to South Moravia, you should definitely visit the picturesque wine village Nový Šaldorf, which is located near Znojmo. The origin of the village dates back to 1656. The original inhabitants of German nationality dug up hundreds of wine cellars here and planted a vineyard called Kraví hora (Cow Hill) with vines, and this is the place where the Špalek family also farms.

Take a tour of the historic sandstone cellar dug 15 meters underground with Marek Špalek. Sandstone sea sediment adds unparalleled charm to the cellars and guarantees a constant temperature of 11°C all year round. Excellent conditions for tasting 10 organic wines are guaranteed! In the tasting cellar, you can also see the historic log press from 1784 and barrique barrels.

After the tour, you can buy bottles of wine on the site. Marek will be happy to advise you on your choice!
