All about the trip

Explore the amazingly intricate Palace of the King Minos with its fascinating architecture and beautiful frescoes in color. Visit the city of Heraklion with its market and historical center.

We will pick you up in your hotel anywhere between Malia and Agia Pelagia. And we will go by an air-conditioned bus to Knossos.

We will visit the Knossos Palace built gradually between 1700 and 1400 BC. The monumental symbol of the Minoan civilization encompasses 1200 rooms in a labyrinth-like structure with an enormous courtyard in the center.

We can admire the sophisticated architecture, the advanced technologies, luxury materials and amazing colorful paintings on plaster. The frescoes show animals, people, gods and ceremonies depicting the surprisingly developed society.

We will hear the legend of the Minotaur and visit the Queen's Boudoir with one of the earliest known flushing toilet systems.

After this exciting journey into the history we will visit the "Minoan Farm" in Patsides, a place where you have the opportunity to try their products and wander their estate fully planted with Cretan herbs.

And then we will proceed in the historical center and see the Loggia and the Morosini fountain at the Lions’ Square.

At the end of our tour we will have free time for some more shopping and lunch.
