Discover the sights of the ancient imperial city of Huế. Visit the bustling Dong Ba Market to watch locals go about their daily errands. And enjoy a boat ride down the Perfume River. See the imposing Imperial Citadel and the grand tomb of King Khai Dinh.

We begin our tour by popping in Dong Ba Market where you can get about anything you think of.

We then enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the Perfume River. In autumn you can smell the fragrance of the fallen orchid flowers here drifting up from the water.

Our next stop is Thien Mu Pagoda with enchanting surrounding gardens. We continue to explore the Imperial Citadel, home of Vietnam's last royal dynasty, and the Hue Royal Antiques Museum with a collection of royal artifacts.

We taste traditional Huế cuisine for lunch. The tomb of King Khai Dinh where we head to next is a magnificent proof of sophisticated burial rites. There is an army of stone Mandarin soldiers guarding the tomb.

We experience quite different ambience at the tomb of King Minh Mang with a traditional symmetrical design.
