Join us for an amazing historical tour to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Haenggung Palace.

We will pick you up at your hotel in the center of Soul and then our tour begins.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress or Hwaseong Fortress has really impressive architecture. It was built in the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty by King Jeongjo. The fortress is located 30 kilometers (19 miles) south of Seoul and includes King Jeongjo's palace Haenggung. This structure and enclosed palace are the World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1997. We can see there a perimeter wall, four main gates, and two sluice gates over the Suwoncheon, Suwon's main stream, which flows through the center of the fortress.

Hwaseong Haenggung Palace is located outside of Seoul. That is why the king used to stay here during the war. He was also visiting the tomb here.

These sites are a great example of Korean history. Suwon itself is a beautiful city that combines modern and historical buildings that stands right next to each other.

After our tour, we will drop you off at Myeongdong.
