All about the trip

You may want to come to rock climbing clinic as a beginner or to practice climbing for more confidence. We are here for all of you. The basalt local climbs we use are excellent for the sport climbing enthusiast conveniently located close to Reykjavik city, so we can spend the day to the fullest. The rock climbing course focuses on your personal climbing progression and is tailored with what you want to get out of a day climbing in Iceland.

We pick you up at your accommodation at 09:00 and head out on a 1-hour drive to a local climbing area. Upon arrival, the guide goes over basic tips of sports climbing before we start warming up on an enjoyable rock climbing routes. During the day we will cover the basics of sport climbing such as safe top rope set up, quick draw clipping, belaying, rope management, communication and more. After a good day out climbing, we will head back to Reykjavik, where we will drop you off at your accommodation.

What to take with you?

We recommend to wear sports clothing and comfortable shoes. Also, please bring a backpack, water bottle, lunch, some snacks and water.
