All about the trip

The first thing we do is provide you with warm clothes followed by instructions on how to drive the sled. Together with a friend you sit and drive a team of 5-6 dogs (depending on the conditions and your weight), and halfway you get to swap over, so you each get to try both driving and sitting. This tour is also perfect if you want to take some photographs. The person sitting can take pictures whilst the other person concentrates on driving the sled.

We cover a distance of approximately 18 km of varied landscape. The area where we make the trails is hand selected. Thus we cover the optimal varied landscape, namely forest areas, swamp, open space, and a creek. When we return to the kennel, you can help to feed your own team of dogs and unharness them before we put them back into their yards. We warm up by the fire with a cup of tea or coffee and cinnamon roll. You can ask questions and cuddle with the puppies before we take you back to one of our drop off locations.

Please be at the meeting point 5 minutes prior to the start time of your booked tour. We will not be able to wait for you if you are not at the meeting point at the given time.

What to take with you?

We recommend to wear warm clothes. Sunglasses and sunblock would be fine when the sun is shining.

Cancellation within 30 to 10 days prior to the starting date. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the booking price.
