All about the trip

Enjoy a trip to the "Pearl of the Gulf" as Sharjah is often called. Start your tour with a pick-up from Dubai and drive through the Al Qasba and Buhaira Corniche. Our first stop will be at the famous and the largest King Faisal Mosque, one of the oldest mosques with wonderful architecture and spectacular views. The mosque was named after King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, former Ruler of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Nowadays, it can accommodate 16 670 worshipers.

Then we proceed to Pearl Monument which was built for the memory of ancient pearl traders of UAE. You will adore the Blue Souq (Central Souk), the main shopping hub and one of the most impressive landmarks of Sharjah. Immerse yourself in a mixture of shops selling gold, silver, authentic and modern jewelry, precious stones, impressive Oriental carpets and rugs, arts, crafts, and attractive ornaments.

Our route then takes us through the Souk Al Jubail known for its fruit, vegetable, and meat selection reconstructed in a traditional style. Then we move to the birds and animals market where you can spot different types of animals and birds from all over the world.

Next, we will visit Bait Al Naboodah offering you the opportunity to learn about the authentic architectural designs of traditional Emirati houses as well as the lifestyle and values of UAE’s ancestors. This house is a unique model of the marvelous art of architecture in Sharjah.

Then we will stop for a photo at the Sharjah Fort. You will learn about the modern history of Sharjah, the ruling family, the history of the fort, the defense methods and Sharjah’s quotidian life 200 years ago.

We will move to Al Mahatta Museum. It is the first airport in the UAE built in 1932 and then turned into a museum highlighting the history of flying in the UAE. It is a prominent place due to its unique collection that shows man’s first attempts at flying and landing on the moon.

After driving through Sharjah King Palace of Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi and Kuwait Street we will reach a photo stop at Quran Roundabout. Quran Roundabout is a large roundabout with a circular lawn in the center and there’s a sculpture of the Quran in the middle of the lawn. Around this roundabout, there are several grand buildings such as the Culture Palace, Sharjah Library, Archaeological Museum, and Al Emam Ahmad Bin Hanbal Mosque. One the way back to Dubai, you can enjoy the view of the entire Sharjah city.
