All about the trip

The activity takes place in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Garraf Natural Park lies only 30 km south-west of Barcelona, but despite this proximity, it is remarkable how untouched and wild the landscape feels. The trip consists of a whole-day exploration of this beautiful landscape. This activity is for people that have already experience paddling on a sit-in-kayak. The day starts at the PaddleinSpain Centre Group - we will meet in Vilanova i la Geltrú but we will be starting this tour from the beach of Garraf (in Garraf town) and we will be ending on the beach of Ribes Roges in Vilanova i la Geltrú. You will receive your equipment, for this activity, we will use a sea kayak expedition, meet your instructor who will be accompanying you all the time on tour. Get ready to enjoy the environment. We will have a little break on a nice small beach to have picnic lunch. On this trip, we will paddle around 10.56 miles (17 km) distance in approximately 5 hours. To do this expedition, it is necessary to have previous experience.

Minimum age: 16 years (with experience on sea kayak). All participants must know how to swim. Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to participate in the activity.

Instructions

Juniors must be accompanied by an adult.

What to take with you?

We recommend you bringing swimsuit and towel, your own transport to get to the facilities, sun lotion, spare clothes, dive boots or tie-on water shoes.
