All about the trip

We will start the tour at 12 pm with a complimentary pick-up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel and depart for the unique rainforest waterfalls. The Templer’s Waterfalls are multi-tiered with a swimming pool in a forest reserve filled with wildlife. It is a 30-minute drive and a 30-minute hike to the waterfalls. It boasts 7 tiers totaling 120 meters in height in 500 hectares of lush forest reserve. You can see monkeys, serpent eagles, cuckoos, woodpeckers, and other local animals.

At the waterfalls, you can swim under the cascading power of gushing fresh mountain waters. After we freshen up, we will drive through the scenic countryside passing rural villages.

Bukit Melawati is a hill with an old abandoned fort and an old lighthouse, and 3 royal graves of sultans. It is also a home of the silvered leaf monkeys – a very graceful and adorable primate that forages for food in the hills. They will clamber all over you if you have food in your hands. You can take many beautiful pictures here. After frolicking with the monkeys, adjourn to a riverside restaurant for a sumptuous fresh seafood dinner.

Catch a boat for an exhilarating ride at dusk to watch dazzling fireflies as Malaysia boasts the largest Fireflies colony in the world. You can enjoy this fascinating sight as we cruise past the mangrove trees.

Return transfer to Kuala Lumpur will be arranged for you and we will be arriving at approx. 9 pm.
