All about the trip

Racha is a perfect mountain area with numbers of rivers and is an ideal place to enjoy rafting in Georgia.

On the way to Racha, we will visit the monastery of Nikortsminda. The Cathedral is on the Tentative List for status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once we get to the river, you will be provided with the necessary instructions on how to sit in the boat properly, how to hold the oar, how what to do in case you find yourself in the water, etc. Then it's time to start rafting adventure on the river Rioni with our experienced instructors. This trip offers awesome sights as well as a healthy dose of adrenaline. Rafting route starts from Oni and ends in Ambrolauri (35 km). We use 6-seat standard rafting boats and every boat is accompanied by a qualified instructor. After the trip, we will have a barbecue picnic in the beautiful nature and have fun discussing the trip.
