All about the trip

Watch the beautiful puffins in their natural habitat nesting on sea cliffs. See them up close without disturbing them on our custom made RIB boat. Enjoy a wildlife tour in a small group of 12 people.

Experience a unique encounter with puffins with their brightly colored beaks. Watch them and other sea birds just a few meters from the boat. We may see dolphins and whales on our cruise too.

We set sail from the Old Harbor of Reykjavík. During the puffin season from early May to the end of August we can watch their large colonies on the sea shore.

There is an incredible variety of sea birds. Auks and gannets can be seen here as well. Whenever possible we switch off the engines and enjoy observing the nature and wildlife of Iceland in quiet and undisturbed. Your guide will explain interesting facts and recount tales on puffins and the area.

Then we sail back to Reykjavík and enjoy a cruise along the city's coastline with the glittering Harpa Concert Hall and the sculpture of the Sun Voyager in view.

Our boats are equipped with high performance suspension seats for your maximum safety and comfort. You will be accompanied by an expert guide and a captain.

With the flexible ticket you can change the date of your departure up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure.

Participants need to be at least 145 cm tall. This tour is not recommended for those with history of back and knee problems or severe heart conditions. This tour may not be suitable for pregnant women and people over the age of 65 years. Consult your doctor before signing up.

Instructions

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the departure. If you arrive later then 10 minutes prior to the departure we cannot guarantee that you can join the tour.

If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather and sea conditions you will be offered an alternative date.
