All about the trip

Would you like to have a one day visit to this, so-called, youngest European state? To get know about its history and sights founded there and to visit Prizren, the most beautiful town in Kosovo.

We will pick you up from any place in Skopje. After half an hour drive you will arrive at the border. Do not forget to have your passport with you.

The first sight to be visited is the Serbian Orthodox monastery Grachanica. This monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church is dedicated to the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary, and it was built in 1321 by Serbian king Stefan Uroš II Milutin. Richly decorated with XIV and XVI century frescoes, the monastery is a rare gem of Serbian medieval art and architecture.

Arrival in Pristina and walking tour in the city center. Visit to Kosovo museum (inside). In the afternoon we will drive towards the picturesque town of Prizren. This town was mentioned as Therranda in Roman times. Today, the most interesting part is its old bazaar, with a lot of Muslim and Christian monuments, churches and mosques. Visits inside are possible (entrance fees may apply, to be paid on the spot) After a refreshing break at some traditional coffee shop, we will drive back to Skopje via the picturesque mountain road at Shara National Park (subject of road and weather conditions).
