Start your half-day tour by a private pick-up from your hotel in Luxor and continue to the city's East Bank where you will be accompanied by a private Egyptologist guide. Visit the Karnak Temple Complex, the greatest example of worship in history. The massive temple was dedicated to the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. Construction at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom (around 2000-1700 BC) and continued into the Ptolemaic period (305 - 30 BC), although most of the remaining buildings date from the New Kingdom.

Continue the tour to the Temple of Luxor. The structure was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th dynasty. He had ruled Egypt for about 67 years. The temple was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad.

Before the end of the tour and drop-off at your hotel, enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st pylon.
