Admire Madeira's original vegetation and explore its old laurel forests. Join a special foot expedition from the largest plateau of Paul da Serra to Fanal. There is a unique fauna and flora in the area and you can enjoy marvellous views of verdant mountains.

We begin our journey at the plateau of Paul da Serra. It is located at the central part of the island with an average altitude of 1,500 m.

Along the walk you can admire ancient trees and lush vegetation with fern, St. John's wort and thyme among many other plants.

We enjoy amazing views of the valleys of Ribeira da Janela and Chão da Ribeira.
