All about the trip

Ajdovščina is a great starting point for a real adventure. Steep slopes of Trnovo Plateau above the valley hide numerous hiking trails leading to Gora. One of the most popular take-off points for paragliders is located on the top of the plateau, near the village of Kovk, which we’ve chosen as a springboard for your exciting flight. Our guide will lead you on a hike from Ajdovščina, along with the picturesque mountain trails all the way to the takeoff point, where you will venture on a tandem paragliding adventure above the Vipava Valley. Accompanied by birds, you will be able to enjoy the stunning views of the Alps and the vast Adriatic Sea on the opposite sides of the horizon. If you wish, we can land next to a wine cellar where you can indulge in local wines and culinary delights long into the night. Now that's an exciting day!

Please note, that the starting time of the activity depends on the season: in the winter months it starts at 13:00, in the summer months it starts at 15:00.

What to take with you?

We recommend to wear hiking boots or trainers, additional dry clothes (t-shirt), warm clothes for a flight (windstopper, jacket, etc.). Take a bottle of water and some snacks.
