Panama Canal the Trade Mark of the Region, the transcontinental water bridge, a world renown work of engineering of the 20th century that today is still impeccable and unique. Learn the history of the men and women behind this world masterpiece, who they were and where they came from and most importantly get to know Panamá, its people, tradition, culture and the important role played by Panama in the region and what drives its economy.
You will visit former US military bases, drive by the one and only Frank Gehry Museum in Latin America. A stop at the indigenous handcraft market for souvenirs such as a Panama Hat and Molas (hand-made textiles traditional of the indigenous Guna people) at indigenous market.
A walking tour in the 2nd Old Square of Panama (Casco Antiguo) let every stone and building of the Colonial Town fill you with joy and wonder.
A scenic drive on the Bridge of the Americas that connects with the Pan-American Highway, the first bridge built over the canal, provides an outstanding and unique overview of the canal including the new modern locks. One quick stop at the controversial Chinese monument.
