All about the trip

Join us at the Lefkas Diving Center for a course in learning to be a certified PADI Open Water Diver!

At the Diving Center, this instructional course will last 4-days on the beautiful island of Lefkada in Greece. This is the course you need before moving on to further training. Armed with your Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) "Open Water Diver" card, this certification is recognised at dive centres worldwide. During this course, you will learn to dive safely to a depth of 18m with a buddy (12m for 10 & 11-year-olds). This is a great opportunity to learn an exciting skill with friends or family!

Throughout the course, you’ll learn the theory of scuba diving, extend your knowledge of dive equipment, and improve your diving skills. The course is made up of 5 theory sessions, 5 dive skill sessions in confined water to practice skills, and 4 open water dives in the Lefkada Sea. You will also be asked to complete water skills including a 10-minute float and a 200m swim.

On completion of the course, you’ll be a certified PADI Open Water Diver, recognised worldwide! And remember, if you book two or more people on the same course we offer great value discounts.

Please only join this activity if you're comfortable in the water and know how to swim. Also, courses that last multiple days are either completed in the morning approximately 9:30 to 13:30 or a full afternoon from 14:30 to 17:30.
