All about the trip

You will start at the Aktiv Zentrum, Bad Schandau, where you’ll be given a scooter, helmet, and lock. The popular Elbe Cycle Route on the right river bank takes you through the majestic Elbe canyon with views of the surrounding sandstone rock walls to Schmilka. Then you´ll exchange the scooter for a paddleboard and other equipment. You will get instructions how to control the paddleboard on the calm Elbe river. The current will enjoyably carry you for up to 2 hours to Bad Schandau. The landing point is in front of the bridge at the left riverbank in Bad Schandau.
