All about the trip

The Cabárceno Nature Park is not a conventional zoo or a natural park. It is a place that was made to be as much natural as possible with the aim for animals to feel at home. Starting from the primitive beauty of its landscape, this park has been created on the 750 hectares of an old open-cast iron mining operation and it is one of its kind in the world. This place is a home for almost 150 species of animals from five continents in a semi-freedom regime and divided into large enclosures.

We will visit the park by minibus, but you will also have the opportunity to see it from the air with the cable car. During the visit, we will see a large variety of animals such as gorillas, tigers, bears, elephants, and many more.

You will love to see the large spaces where animals live and how clean and organized is this park!

This is definitely a must-visit if you like animals or if you come to Santander with your family!
