All about the trip
Calling all teddy bear lovers! Join us for a fun day of sightseeing and adventure at Mt.Seorak and the famous Teddy Bear farm. On this tour, you will have a private vehicle, along with a licensed, English-speaking tour guide. Our guide will show you around the town like a local, avoiding large tourist traps. With your guide, you will venture to Mt.Seorak, Teddy Bear farm, and Baekdamsa Temple. To begin, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Seoul and make the journey to Mt.Seorak. Your private guide will accompany you throughout the trip and help whenever needed.
Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Mt. Seorak, locally known as “big snow mountain.” Mt. Seorak is the third highest mountain in South Korea. Located in the Gangwon Province; the peak reaches to 1,708 meters! We will begin by taking the cable car to the peak, offering an expansive scenic view. The cable car offers a stress-free round-trip journey up the mountain and departs every 7 minutes. On the mountain lies the ruins of the Gwongeumseong Fortress, dating to the 10th century. This mountain is rich in historical legend as well as rare plants and animals such as the semi moon chest bears. Mt. Seorak has been designated by UNESCO as a “biosphere reserve”; because of its various ecosystems on the mountain. This mountain is a tremendous sight to behold.
The next stop is the cute and cuddly Teddy Bear Farm! The farm offers a glimpse of the quirky lifestyle of Sokcho through teddy bears. As you walk through the "village", you will see a display of teddy bears skiing, mountain-climbing, playing golf, and much more! This is such a sweet and innocent place, its hard not to have your heart warmed. After this, our last stop will be the resilient Baekdamsa Temple. Originally built in the 6th century, the temple has fallen victim to fire over the centuries. This temple is an important monument in the region, accompanied by a complex and fascinating history!
