All about the trip

Join us for an awesome mountain biking and fishing adventure in rural Dalat. Together with your English-speaking guide you'll visit pine forests, flower gardens, coffee plantations, and the 'Elephant Waterfall'. Then finally, after a long day of mountain biking, we'll go fishing with a local family.

The route for the day is about 35 km in total length. Our day begins after fitting your bike and helmet at our office. You will also receive a short safety briefing on mountain biking in Vietnam. After a brief uphill to get warmed-up with, we will then ride towards a nice, long downhill section that we can enjoy before connecting to a local village. After cruising through the village we will make our way towards Dalat's coffee plantations and the weasel coffee farm. If you'd like to try some famous Luwak coffee then now is the perfect chance to enjoy a cup.

We then keep riding onto the main paved road out of Ta Nung village. From here we continue riding over some nice, easy rolling hills towards some interesting local attractions. These include the cricket farm, an organic rice wine distillery, and a silk factory.

After approximately 35 km of cycling, we should arrive at the Elephant Waterfalls where we finish our ride and then enjoy a picnic lunch together here (consisting of fresh veggies and fruits, baguettes with an assortment of toppings, and various French-style pastries).

After lunch, your guide will take you for a walk down to the waterfalls to learn more about this wonderful area. You can then enjoy visiting the Linh An Pagoda which is located nearby. This will be then followed by making our way towards a giant Buddha statue which is supposed to bring good luck to whoever touches it. We will then jump in the transport vehicle and make our way back towards Dalat. On the way back we will meet with a local family to enjoy some fishing together. Don't worry either, we’ll prepare everything you need to enjoy a cool fishing experience; all you need to do is cast-off and see if you get a bite.
