All about the trip

The trip starts on the road to Irakli which starts from the main road Varna – Burgas.

First, we will bike on the asphalt road to Irakli. The road climbs moderately up to a maximum height of 250 meters and then descends to Emona. We continue on a dirt road to Emine, the last part of which we will pass walking. The track continues to St. Nicholas Chapel and back.

Shortly after that, we start climbing the heights to St. Elias. The road is nice and wide, with small slopes and runs northwest through the sparse forest and meadows. We will get to a turn on the main road Varna – Burgas, and we will have to ride for 2 km.

Next, we will deviate to a dirt road that takes few turns to the north. The road is rocky with some descending. After crossing the Kurudere river we will ascend a little to Priselci village.

The track joins the main road at the west end of the village and continues on the asphalt road near Rakovskovo village.
