All about the trip

This very special tour takes you on a journey to experience the most beautiful parts of Nahuel Huapi National Park.

Visit forests, lakes, beaches, mountains, and waterfalls.

You will also see the highest mountain in the area: Mount Tronador, which rises 11 411 feet (3 478 meters) above sea level, forming a natural boundary between Argentina and Chile. The views from this high elevation are too incredible for words.

In addition to magnificent scenery, you’ll see some of the unusual natural phenomena that occur in this region including the “black glacier,” Ventisquero Negro. It appears a striking black color despite being fed by a small river flowing from the white Rio Manso Glacier, just several hundred feet above the mountain. This location is also the source of the Manso, a mountain river winding all the way down to the Pacific Ocean that flows across rapids, waterfalls (such as the renowned Los Alerces Cascade), and a number of beautiful lakes.
