All about the trip

Enjoy a perfect day packed with exciting experiences. Take an early morning trek to the active volcano of Mount Batur to see the splendid sunrise from the top of the sacred Hindu mountain. Relax your muscles in a delightful bath in natural hot springs and taste the unique coffee Luwak.

We set off early in the morning and drive to the starting point of our trek. The climb up Mount Batur takes 2 hours and we reach just in time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset.

After exploring the crater we have a breakfast cooked by the steam of the volcano by our skillful guide.

The descend to the village of Toya Bungkah will take us 1 hour. There are several hot springs in the village and we can immerse in the delightfully warm water to relax after the trek.

Refreshed by the bath we drive to a coffee plantation where we watch a traditional Balinese way of preparing coffee. We taste several of the plantation's final products including Luwak or civet coffee.

What to take with you?

Please wear long trousers, warm jacket and hiking shoes. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimsuit, and a set of clothes to change into after the trek.
