All about the trip

This Dubai desert tour will give you a taste of the Bedouin lifestyle from a bygone era!

The tour will begin with our safari captain picking you up from your hotel in a 4X4 Land Cruiser. From there you will be driven to the Lahbab Desert, during the hour drive your guide will tell you the history of Dubai before arriving at the dune-bashing destination. Once you've arrived at Lahbab, there will be a nice 20-minute break to prepare for the activity. During this time the captain will check the vehicle and go over safety procedures with you and your group. The crimson dunes are endless, and the captain will take you to the peak and let the Land Cruiser fall gently down, giving you a feeling of being suspended in time! If vehicles aren't for you, you can try your hand at surfing the dunes by sandboarding! Sandboarding is a product of Emeratie ingenuity, instead of surfing waves, the sandboard helps you glide effortlessly down the dunes.

After about 45-minutes of dune bashing, the captain will take you to the Al Khayma desert camp. In the desert, you will have the opportunity to try a multitude of activities such as camel riding, snack on traditional sweets, and enjoy a lovely brunch after a morning out on the dunes.

When you've finished your brunch there will be some time for relaxing at the camp. When you're rested, you will be taken back to your hotel in the city, leaving the endless desert behind you.

Where do we meet and where will the trip end?

Meeting place:

You will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel in central Dubai, Deira, BurDubai, Jumeirah, Business Bay, Trade center, Al Barsha, Al Barsha heights Tecom, JLT, Palm Jumeirah, and Marina. Please let us know the name of your hotel during the booking process.

Pick-up service is not available from the Naif and Al Sabkha area. Pick-up from other Dubai locations is available upon request with additional cost as per your location. Pick-up from Dubai Airport is available from Holiday Inn Express Dubai Airport Hotel, to reach here you can use a local taxi (recommended) or hotel shuttle bus (both are chargeable). The pick-up time will be within the first 30 minutes of your booked tour time, depending on the location of your hotel. If there is any change you will be notified by WhatsApp, phone call or Email.
