All about the trip

During this 2-hour tour we will discover viewpoints, gardens and a lush Mediterranean vegetation, and see Barcelona from another perspective. Time to get on segway and ascend to the Montjuïc Castle where you can photograph one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. This is a perfect way to take a different approach for a sightseeing tour, escape the busy city and take refuge from the heat. Our trip will leave you with a memory of Barcelona which you will remember forever.

What to take with you?

We recommend to wear comfortable shoes (not flip-flops) and bring sun cream.

Itinerary

1	Departure. We will wait for you in our office located on Carrer Nou de la Rambla 38, to begin with a brief initial training with our expert guide.
2	Columbus Monument and Port Vell. Our adventure start’s from the sea side, visiting the Columbus Monument, the Port Vell and the Barcelona maritime station. We will watch the cruise ships entering the port, and then begin the ascent through the Mossen Costa i Llobera Gardens. The gardens will inspire you to take some beautiful pictures.
3	Poble Sec and Miramar Hotel. Poble Sec viewpoint is our next stop. We will be welcomed by a view of the Plaza de la Armada, full of sculptures and green gardens surrounding the Miramar Hotel. Old restaurant during the Universal Exhibition of 1929 and headquarters of the studios of Televisión Española (TVE) in Barcelona between 1959 and 1983, currently it is a luxury hotel that offers panoramic views to its clients. The Miramar building has been resurrected and converted into a five-star luxury hotel.
4	Montjuïc Gardens and Mirador de l'Alcalde. Our further ascent will be in the direction of Montjuïc Castle. We will cross the Joan Brossa gardens and get to Mirador de l’Alcalde, another magnificent viewpoint to photograph the city. From there we can see the Barcelona cable car, which connects the upper part of Montjuïc with the sea for almost 100 years.
5	Montjuïc castle. Next up is a visit to Montjuïc castle, a fortified military structure with a rich past. It played a very important role throughout the history of Barcelona. Even today, you can still see and photograph the canyons with which the city was defended.
6	Return. From the top of the mountain, we will descend back to our office, getting close to the neighborhood of Poble Sec – Paral.lel. Historic leisure and entertainment district of Barcelona. It harbored many theatres, show halls, and cabarets, hence it is known as the “Broadway Barcelonés”.
