Join the exciting excursion to one of the oldest monasteries in the world. See the spiritual place built in the 3rd century in honor of Saint Anthony, and the nearby monastery with the Cave Church of Saint Paul preserving the remains of the youngest know hermit.

After the pick-up in your Hurghada hotel we will drive in an air-conditioned vehicle 240 km to our destination.

The Monastery of Saint Anthony respects the Coptic Orthodox tradition and Saint Anthony was considered the greatest spiritual leader of the time.

The nearby Monastery of Saint Paul hides in its center the Cave Church where the youngest hermit spent his life since he was 16 years old.

The interesting fact is that St. Anthony spent his life in cave as well. In his case we are talking about 90 yers!

Conservation works took place here from 1997 to 2005 to restore some of the damaged parts.
