All about the trip

Walk through the historical city of Mértola surrounded by the Guadiana river and dominated by Castle of Mértola. Typical narrow streets will lead us to another era. Come with us and you will be amazed!

After leaving Lagos, we will head towards Mértola, a beautiful Alentejo village surrounded by the Guadiana river, which gives it a unique character. We will also visit the Mértola Museum with its historical centers which tell a story from many different eras. From the Roman House to the Islamic Art Center, you will see pieces of history with thousands of years in perfect condition.

During our journey, we can admire the natural beauty of the village which is facing Guadiana river.
