Mardi Himal Base Camp 10 Days Trek is officially opened for tourism and trekking by trekking agencies of Nepal TAAN from 2012. Base Camp of Mardi Himal follows the ridge between Mardi Khola Valleys and Modi Khola which is also known as the hidden treasure trek in Nepal.

The Major attraction of Mardi Himal Trek is traditional Nepali Villages, close view of Annapurna Himalayan Range. Mardi Himal Trek elevation varies from 4250m to 4500m which is the upper View Point of Mardi Himal Base Camp. It is a short and easy trek route in Nepal where you can experience every aspect of trekking like Annapurna Region and Everest Base Camp Trek. The Machhapuchre Mountain is famous for Fishtail mountain as its peak resembles the tail of Fish which is clearly seen from the trek route of Mardi Himal Trek.

Best Time To Trek Mardi Himal:

Autumn Season mid-September to November is the peak and best time to go to Mardi Himal Base Camp. However, March to May is another best season of the year. Trekking to Mardi Himal Base Camp from December to February is also favorable as the sky is clear but it can get very cold and the trails often get close due to snowfall.

Trekking during Monsoon(May to June) is better as the weather is warm and flowers start to bloom and green leaves just appear which makes the trekkers more exciting.

June to Mid September is when the monsoon season starts so, Mardi Himal Trek during this time is less popular because of the risk of downpours and leeches increases. If you walk willingly to trek during the monsoon you are suggested to wear trekking trousers and mosquito and leeches repellent spray.

Are You Fit For Mardi Himal Trek?

We compulsorily do not recommend any fitness for doing Mardi Himal Trek. However, you have to be the necessary fit for going off the beaten path. Any traveler willing to explore mountains and who can walk around 5 hours per day can do Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek. There is no direct climbing involved but you need to climb some rocky section near and high in Mardi Himal.

Mardi Himal Trek Cost is the most asked question by many travelers. The cost depends upon the type of accommodation, transportation, and service of the trekking company. The cost varies from USD 750 To USD 950 depending upon the trek duration. The Mardi Himal Trek cost may be far less depending upon the volume of travelers traveling in a group. The trekkers and guide cost may be reduced if 5-10 persons travel at the same time whereas the cost may slightly increase if you are a single traveler and if you need more guides and porters with you. We have a different tour plan according to your budget. Standard and deluxe tour plans and group sizes may vary the cost. Trekking flight to Pokhara and helicopter charter to the base camp of Mardi Himal will higher the estimated budget.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4592ft) And Pre-Trip Meeting.
	Welcome And Namaste, Representative of Mount Glory will be receiving you at TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport). He will be displaying a signboard Of Mount Glory outside the TIA terminal Then he/she will be transferring you to the respective hotel in a private tourist vehicle On the way to the hotel he will be explaining to you about the various services provided by Mount Glory Team Then after reaching the respective hotel you will be freshening up and take some rest. On the same day, we will be meeting in the Mount Glory office to discuss the trip. At the same time we will be sharing our experiences about various mountain landscapes and beautiful sceneries across the Himalayas for another day's tour Then we will meet you with our experienced guide who will take you to the beautiful mountains.
	Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel In Kathmandu (Hotel Truly Asia or Similar).

Day 02 : Drive from Kathmandu To Pokhara.
	After early morning breakfast, you will drive to Pokhara city by Tourist bus. You will travel through the bank of rivers and high green mountain base to Pokhara.The 6-7 hours journey to lake city Pokhara is 200km away from Kathmandu. You may enjoy lakes, nightlife, and boating in the different lakes in Pokhara. Overnight Stay at 3 Star Hotel In Pokhara.

Day 03 : Drive to Kande – 1 hour. Trek to Australian Base Camp (2060m) -3 hours.
	After breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive to majestic Kande Village by Private tourist vehicle. Kande is a starting point of Mardi Himal Trek where you will start the foot trails. After walking 3 hours from kande you will reach Australian Base Camp. The trail to ABC Offers you a majestic view of Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Nilgiri, and Himchuli. Stay Overnight At Australian Base Camp.
	Walking Hours: 2 Hours Drive And 3 Hours Trek
	Meals: Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner Included

Day 04 : Trek to Forest Camp (2600m).
	After Breakfast at ABC, we will trek to Forest Camp which is 6 hours long walk. The trail offers you a beautiful view of Oaktree jungles, the rhododendron forest, and the Maples. The trails lead to Pothana 1950m and to Deurali 2100m.In Deurali we see a signboard Pointing the Way to Forest Camp and then, we enter the quiet, peaceful jungle to reach Forest Camp where we stand Overnight.

Day 05 : Trek to High Camp (3,550 m).
	From forest camp, our exciting walk to High Camp begins after breakfast. We walk through the Rhodendron Forest to Badal Danda through grassy ridges. And we ascend to high camp above the hills. The temperature reduces as we walk through the grassy ridges to High Camp. After 5 hours we will reach High Camp For Overnight Stay.

Day 06 : Trek to Upper View Point (4,250 m) – 2.5 hours / Base Camp (4,500m) – 4 hours. Trek back to Low Camp (3,050 m) – 6 to 7 hours.
	After breakfast at High Camp, We walk to Upper View Point 4250m in 2.5 hours. The trail offers you a panoramic view of the majestic Annapurna Range. After spending some time in Upper View Point we will reach Base Camp Of Mardi 4500m. Some time in Mardi Himal Base Camp We will return back to High Camp where we will have Lunch and few hours stay then trails descend to Low Camp in 2 Hours.

Day 07 : Trek to Sidhing (1,700 m).
	After breakfast at Low Camp, we descend to Siding Village 1700m in 5 hours walk and stay overnight at Hotel. Siding is famous among trekkers for its unique lifestyle, culture, tradition, and local hospitality.
	Walking Hours: 5-6 Hours

Day 08 : Trek to Lumre – 3 hours and drive back to Pokhara.
	After breakfast at Sidhing we start our last day trek to Lumre. And, our 3 hours trek becomes more leisurely as we walk down. We can enjoy the moment by making beautiful memories in Lumre. There is a tourist vehicle In Lumiere to take us to Pokhara. Overnight Stay at Pokhara Hotel.
	Walking Hours: 3 Hours Trek And 1.5 Hours Drive
	Meals: Breakfast And Lunch Included.
	Accommodation: 3 Star Hotel In Pokhara.
Day 09 : Drive back to Kathmandu (1400m/4,593 ft) From Pokhara.
	We head to Kathmandu after breakfast in Pokhara on a tourist bus.7 hours journey to Kathmandu will offer you many beautiful villages and rivers for a lifetime memory. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you and transfer you back to Hotel. In the evening we will have Farewell Dinner with guides and a company representative.

Day 10 : Final Departure.
