Explore the verdant São Jorge valley and its beautiful nature on a full-day hike. Madeira's rain forest hides abundance of medicinal herbs. Discover healing properties of ancient remedies and admire the magical atmosphere of the place.

São Jorge valley is situated on the northern coast of Madeira in an area with lush vegetation.

On the 10-km hike we follow one of the ancient aqueducts. We will cross streams and walk through – or behind for the less adventurous – a waterfall.

Throughout the day we will breathe in the amazing peace of the place and enjoy the stunning views of mountains covered in rich greenery.
