All about the trip

Travel the center of Madeira by Jeep and see the island's mountains, vineyards and steep cliffs. See the amazing view over Curral das Freiras valley from Boca dos Namorados. Visit Jardim da Serra known as “The Land of Cherries”. And enjoy the hair-raising view from the second highest cliff in the world, Cabo Girão.

From Funchal we set off on the road to Covão and Fajã das Galinha. Driving the unpaved routes we can admire Madeira's nature from up close and see the lush forests and hilly vineyards.

Boca dos Namorados viewpoint is at the altitude of 1050 m. From there we can see the surrounding mountains and enjoy the panoramic view.

We continue to Boca da Corrida offering a magnificent view over the Curral das Freiras valley with the isolated "Nuns Valley" village below.

Jardim da Serra known as “The Land of Cherries” is the only place in Madeira where the delicious fruit is grown. It is crucial for the economy of the village and every year locals hold a festival in honor of the cherry.

Our last stop is Cabo Girão and you can admire the fantastic view of the Atlantic and Madeira's coastline from the top of the cliff.
