Indonesia is famous for its muck macro diving and one of the best spots in Bali just happens to be Café Garam.

Known for its gorgeous natural beauty, Café Garam is getting quite the reputation for being one of the most vibrant spots in Bali to enjoy muck macro diving. Situated in front of Amed beach, this easy shore dive offers numerous opportunities for capturing incredible underwater photography and videography.

There will be numerous opportunities at Café Garam to see harlequin shrimps, frog-fishes, snake eels, nudibranch and many others. A nearby estuary from two rivers delivers rich sediment to the whole area, which is why so much marine life lives here. In general, the current is very slow here, making this dive much easier than other locations, such as Seraya. However, as with all our sea dives, you will need diving experience in order to participate on this activity.

Instructions

Please bring ID and your booking reservation.

You will need to bring your own bathing suit and towel. Dry clothes to change into afterwards are also needed.

What to take with you?

Please bring your own swimwear. You may also bring a waterproof bag with a towel, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks and any other supplies you may need for the day.
