All about the trip
Join us for a morning trip to The Lotte World Theme Park!
Lotte World is one of the largest indoor amusement parks on earth. Located in the heart of the city, Lotte World is the perfect spot for entertainment and sightseeing. It is a theme park filled with thrilling rides, an ice rink, laser shows, all kinds of parades, folk museums, a huge lake, restaurants, picnic areas and much more.
Roughly 6 million visitors pass through the entrance of Lotte World each year. The interior structure inside ingeniously makes use of natural sunlight throughout the daytime and as a consequence, the park is open for visitors all year round, regardless of the weather.
Lotte World is divided into various themes. The first being the "Adventure" theme which begins once you are inside the building. Outside is the ‘Magic Island’ theme situated next to Seokchonhosu Lake. There is also the dazzling Magic Castle located outside next to some thrilling high-altitude rides, such as the 'Gyro Drop' and 'Gyro Swing' which are top rides at the park. There is also a 'Flume Ride' which is a long boat with a high-altitude wave, and the 'Spanish Pirate Ship' which swings at an electrifying 75º degrees.
Besides the excitement of the rollercoaster rides, Lotte World also contains a variety of exciting parades and laser shows. There are over 200 performers who sing and dance in the World Carnival Parade.
After enjoying the shows and the rides, don’t forget to go ice skating at the ice rink which is situated indoors on the floor B3. Here you will also find a snack bar, a sports shop, a skate rental service and changing rooms.
There is also a Folk Museum which is a very popular attraction for foreign travellers. Ancient Korean artefacts and cultural items are exhibited for visitors to enjoy. Some exhibits are 5000 years old, so there really is some ancient treasures to see here.
