All about the trip
This is a special tour of the ancient Khmer Empire and Phnom Kulen mountain. It is known as a sacred mountain for Cambodian people. There, we'll visit Phnom Kulen national park, Bat cave, Elephant statues, reclining of Buddha, river of 1000 Lingas, and the waterfall.
Join your driver and guide to head to the jungles of Phnom Kulen National Park. Considered by Khmers as the most sacred mountain in Cambodia, it is a place of pilgrimage. Main stops at Phnom Kulen include admiring the panoramic vistas from the massive reclining Buddha, the biggest of its kind in Cambodia, the “River of a Thousand Lingas” carving of sacred lingas on the river banks and the waterfalls of Phnom Kulen. We stop to take a dip in the cool waters and visit the nearby temple ruins. This 6-hour day allows you to enjoy nature away from the Siem Reap tourist trail.
