All about the trip

With its enormous and ancient icebergs breaking off from Vatnajökull glacier, this natural wonder of Iceland is a sight you entirely cannot miss.

The lagoon produces a feeling of incredible tranquillity as the 1000-1500 year old ice silently drifts into the lake and slowly melts away. The lagoon covers 18 square kilometres and reaches more than 248 metres at its deepest point. You may recognise this lagoon from scenes in Batman Begins, Tomb Raider and two James Bond movies.

But this is not the only thing you can see on this trip. Prepare for many and many stops. You will be thrilled.

Along the way, we will see Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, Glacier lagoon (with an opportunity of a boat tour among the icebergs), Diamond beach, Vík í Mýrdal and many other.

If the weather permits, you can look forward to seeing Hekla, Eyjafjallajökull, Katla and Öræfajökull volcanoes.

There are also many glaciers that we will be passing on our way as well as some beautiful coastlines (with a famous Diamond beach), fertile farmlands and green lava fields.
