All about the trip

Calling all thrillseekers, join us for a whitewater rafting experience in Verdon Gorges, France! This course has an adventure at every turn; the rapids are waiting for you! The trip is 16km down river and lasts for 2-hours and 30 minutes on the water; this is an ideal experience for people looking for an action-packed day with scenic views. During the journey, you will be accompanied by our expert guide, who will begin the tour with a safety briefing. The guide will discuss the technical points of the path and inform you of what to expect while on the water. You will also try on your wetsuits and life jackets for the perfect fit. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, we want you to feel safe and excited about the tour!

Once everyone in the group is ready to depart, you will begin at the start point of Pont de Taloire and finish at the entrance of the famous Couloir Samson near the Grand Canyon entrance. To get to the raft you will need to swim 25 meters through shallow water (please be comfortable doing so). Prepare yourself for powerful streams and narrow passages, the rapids are rated a class of 3+. The rapids are filled with sharp turns, rough bumps, and stomach-dropping falls, making for the perfect adrenaline-inducing activity! With the excitement from the rapids, you'll be surrounded by staggering snowcapped mountains and turquoise water. The natural views combined with the adventurous rapids make for an awesome day out on the rapids!

As you approach the end with your team, a final effort is needed. You must carry the raft with your guide to the finish point to join the bus; teamwork is the key to this activity! You will feel incredible after your 16km journey on the rapids.

Please, for your comfort, attend this activity only if you know how to swim and are comfortable in the water. Also, you must be in good health and average physical shape to participate in this activity.
