All about the trip
Food tasting, history, and sightseeing; what more could you ask for on this culinary tour? Experience all that Budapest has to offer with this multi-faceted tour. Our local and passionate guide will show you the hidden gems that tourists often miss when they visit this vibrant city.
First, we will make your way down the promenade to the Hold Street Market Hall. The hall itself dates to 1891 and is still used for its original use. Today you will find over 180 stalls filled with local produce, fish, bread, spices and much more! We will first start with traditional items such as smoked peppers. Hungary is known for its love of smoky paprika especially in delicious goulash. In the market we will tour wine bars, cheese stalls, and bakeries; the energy of the market is irresistible. After we’ve had our fill of the market, we will make our way to locally-owned venues, all recommended by locals. During this time, you will learn about the history of Hungarian cuisine. The complex and rich history of this nation makes for a unique experience. Our tour is filled with little surprises that will keep you entranced as we stroll along the beautiful streets of Budapest.
Join us and let us show you Hungarian hospitality! You will take pleasure in knowing you are experiencing a real look into Budapest’s incredible history.
