Join us for an unforgettable hike to the waterfalls and lagoons of Rabaçal!

Our day begins with collection from your hotel in Caniço or Funchal. After arriving at the start point, we will embark on our adventure taking you down some less known trails, far away from the regular ones. Our aim of the day is to show you some of the more hidden gems of the area. Getting deeper into one of the lushest valleys of the island, soon we will reach the 'Levadas' which are cut into cliffs and mountains. Levadas are a unique feature native to Madiera and we are definitely excited to show you them! (Levadas are an irrigation channel or aqueduct specific to the Portuguese Atlantic region of Madeira).

Once we get to the inner valley we will get some rest and recharge energy for a return trip from this magic place.

This hike is not the standard lakes or Rabaçal trip. It's a much longer distance and at a harder sports level (as it is not all done in Levada) but also on old paths in the middle of the vegetation. So prepare well for a full day of hiking!
