All about the trip

Visiting Hoa Lu and Tam Coc is an immersion in the history, culture, and nature of the northern Vietnamese countryside. Your tour starts at about 8:00 when your guide picks you up in Hanoi's Old Quarter to go to Hoa Lu. The first stop of your journey is at the ancient temples of Le and the Dinh dynasties. Here, you can observe the unique architecture of these two famous temples, and discover their historical value during feudal Vietnam. As you explore the area, your guide tells you interesting stories about kings and the constructions of the two houses.

When it is about noon, you head towards Tam Coc, where you have a typical lunch and can recover your energy for the second part of the tour.

Next, you get on small boats to visit the scenic landscape of the majestic mountains of Tam Coc. Here, you have beautiful views of the fields. After that, it’s time to ride your bicycle to explore the quaint village, immense plains, rivers, and the natural rocky countryside of Vietnam.

After pedalling for about an hour, it is time to get back to Hanoi’s Old Quarter and remember the amazing experience you had.
