All about the trip

Experience an amazing hike from Teno Alto mountains to Punta de Teno and enjoy spectacular views of the westernmost point of the island and the coastline. Discover the beautiful nature and local traditions.

We meet at Plaza de los Remedios in Buenavista del Norte and drive to Teno Alto. From there we begin the 3.5-hour descent to the sea shore.

Teno Alto is Tenerife's hidden gem. Ancient traditions are still alive in this special place and you can witness them on our journey.

As we hike down the mountains we watch the landscape with rocky hills, herds of goats and traditional houses built of stone. The mountain scenery with its vegetation slowly gives way to magnificent views of the sea and Tenerife's coastline.

We reach Punta de Teno at 1.30 p.m. and our tour ends here upon our arrival. Then you are free to explore the picturesque lighthouse or enjoy some of our other activities like a boat trip or sea kayaking (for an extra cost).

To return back to Buenavista del Norte you need to take the bus line 369. The cost is EUR 1.
