Vothonas

Narrow paths and steps that deserve to be walked and ascended run through the spine of the village. A picturesque traditional settlement that differs from other villages of Santorini. For instance, it has no view of Fira or Oia. It has, though, a distinct character, fully attached to the natural surrounding and the beds of rock of the Thira land.

Panagia Tripa or Sergena

A small church carved in tall volcanic rock, outside the Vothonas settlement. Locals used it as heaven during the Turkish Occupancy.

We will get there on foot through a discernible path among the volcanic stones and drystone walls. It is one of the prettiest spots on the island, where you can cherish serenity and seclusion.

Pyrgos

Pyrgos is a medieval ornament and dominates a hill overlooking Santorini from side to side, from Santorini to Oia. It has a castle still preserving the traits of the Venetian Empire, sowed with churches and ruins, breathing a strong sense of power and prosperity. Besides the castle, you will pay a visit to the Monastery of Prophet Elias located on the hilltop. There, visitors can marvel at the panoramic views of the island.
